Antenen Research likes the Staubli RX industrial robots because they are compact and capable of high speed and are continuing to make inroads into high precision manufacturing that has historically been manually finished, assembled or inserted. The Staubli controller is based on the Adept MV series and can support many different types of interfaces: ethernet, digital IO, serial, analog IO or directly through the VME bus).
